Pramono Ensures Readiness of Sacrificial Animals Ahead of Eid al-Adha

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung reviewed the shelter of qurban animals and the release of animal inspection and sacrificial meat officers in 2025/1446 H, at Perumda Dharma Jaya, Cakung, East Jakarta, Thursday (6/5).
69 thousand sacrificial animals to be slaughtered in Jakarta
The review was carried out in order to welcome the Eid al-Adha tomorrow.
Pramono said that preparations for Eid al-Adha in Jakarta had been carried out. It is estimated that around 69 thousand sacrificial animals will be slaughtered in Jakarta, and 1,200 of them are prepared by Perumda Dharma Jaya.

Jakarta Provincial Government also deployed 300 halal slaughterers or Juleha and 90 veterinarians coordinated by the relevant agencies to ensure the smoothness and health of the sacrificial animals. Pramono also ensured that the sacrificial animals in Jakarta were healthy and free from Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD).
Regarding the technicalities of distributing sacrificial meat, the Director of Perumda Dharma Jaya, Raditya Endra Budiman, said that his side handed over the distribution scheme to the animal slaughterer.
Raditya added that the stock of sacrificial animals at Perumda Dharma Jaya is 1,200, 950 of them have been sold. 211 animals are planned to be slaughtered at Perumda Dharma Jaya.
"Our qurban animals stock is 1,200 and 950 of them have been sold. Then 211 of them are ready to be slaughtered here," he explained.
